How can circuit boards be connected to one another using Float27 SMT connectors?

    The Float27 connector system is processed using surface mount technology (SMT) and therefore soldered directly onto PCBs. Positioning pins on the underside of the Float27 connectors guarantee exact positioning on the PCB. ept also ensures a coplanarity of the contacts of max. 0.1 mm to guarantee reliable soldering during processing.

    With Float27 connectors, contact is made via a double-leg spring contact that surrounds the contact pin of the male connector. A reliable connection is therefore guaranteed on at least one side of the pin, even in the event of mating misalignment. In addition, a connection is made via the smooth, rolled surface of the spring contact. This prevents abrasion of the contact surface and chip formation when plugging in the Float27 connectors.
